The Levant's leading food and hospitality event, gathering Michelin-starred chefs at King Hussein Business Park.
Since its inaugural edition, the Jordan International Food Festival (JIFF) has quickly established itself as the Levant's leading food and hospitality event. Organised by Jordan's Ministry of Tourism and the Jordan Tourism Board, the festival takes over the 50,000 square metre King Hussein Business Park in Amman each August, transforming it into a genuine hub of gastronomic activity across multiple themed zones.
The festival's programme spans collaborative dinners pairing Jordanian and international chefs, culinary panels, live cooking demonstrations and master classes — recent editions have featured Michelin-starred talent from as far afield as Northumberland alongside celebrated Jordanian culinary figures. More than 200 international and local food vendors and restaurants take part, serving everything from Jordanian classics like mansaf and maqluba to global cuisine, while evening concerts and a dedicated children's area round out the six-day event.
Organisers have framed the festival around the idea of connection — reuniting people through food after years of regional disruption — and its rapid growth suggests that framing has resonated. Alongside the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts and the Amman International Film Festival, JIFF has become one of the anchor events in Jordan's push to establish itself as a serious culinary destination.
