A seaside summer celebration of Lebanese white and rosé wine in the historic harbour of Byblos.
Each July, the ancient harbour of Byblos — among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world — hosts one of Lebanon's most anticipated summer celebrations. Byblos en Blanc et Rosé is dedicated entirely to white and rosé wine, bringing together producers from across Lebanon's winemaking regions for three days of tastings set right on the waterfront.
Organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Byblos, the festival pairs wine with live music and the kind of relaxed, seaside summer atmosphere that Byblos has become known for. Visitors can sample crisp whites, refreshing rosés and other local favourites while meeting the winemakers behind them directly — a genuinely hands-on introduction to Lebanon's wine scene rather than a passive tasting event.
Set against the backdrop of Byblos's Crusader-era castle and Phoenician ruins, the festival has become something of a summer institution for both Beirut weekenders and international visitors, offering an easy escape to one of Lebanon's most historic coastal towns.
