Saudi Arabia's flagship food festival, with over 100 restaurants representing all 13 regions of the Kingdom.
Organised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture and its Culinary Arts Commission, the Saudi Feast Food Festival has grown rapidly since its first edition in Jeddah in 2021 into the Kingdom's flagship celebration of Saudi cuisine. Now held each November and December, most recently at King Saud University in Riyadh, the festival's fifth edition brought together over 100 restaurants serving more than 300 dishes, from traditional Saudi classics to international cuisine.
The festival's centrepiece is its Heritage and Culinary Arts Zone, featuring stations representing all 13 regions of Saudi Arabia — offering visitors a genuine tour of the Kingdom's remarkably varied regional cooking in a single space, from Jazan and Makkah to Al-Jouf, Qassim and Hail. Visitors can watch live cooking demonstrations that recreate the atmosphere of traditional family kitchens, alongside a heritage market selling local honey, olive oil, spices and handmade goods.
Each edition has introduced international guest elements too, with a recent festival featuring a dedicated Thailand zone alongside its core Saudi programming, reflecting the festival's stated ambition to elevate Saudi cuisine's global profile while staying rooted in its own regional traditions.
