San Francisco's food truck and street food culture reflects the city's genuine diversity — Mission-style burritos, dim sum, Filipino, Ethiopian and dozens of other traditions all coexist within a few square miles, and this festival was built specifically to celebrate that range in one place.
Rather than large corporate food brands, the emphasis stays on independent vendors and small businesses, many run by immigrant families whose food has helped define the city's culinary identity over generations.
