Ais kacang, meaning 'ice beans', has evolved over decades from a simple shaved-ice snack into an elaborate multi-topping dessert.

A vibrant Malaysian shaved ice dessert, piled high with red beans, sweet corn, jelly and syrups, drizzled with condensed milk — a colourful cooling treat.
