Hummus

Lebanon

Hummus means 'chickpeas' in Arabic. It's one of the oldest dishes in the Middle East, and Lebanon, Syria, Israel and Palestine all claim it as their own.

Silky-smooth chickpea and tahini dip with lemon and garlic. Served with warm flatbread, falafel and grilled meats.
