Sold at every churroría in Mexico from midnight until dawn. The standard remedy after a long night.
Mexican thick hot chocolate with churros — chocolate so thick it resembles a sauce, served alongside crispy churros for dunking. A late-night and morning-after staple.
Whisk cornflour into cold milk. Heat with chocolate, sugar and cinnamon.
Stir until thick and glossy.
Serve in cups alongside hot churros.
The chocolate must be genuinely thick — thin it slightly with milk if it sets in the cup.
