Martabak

Indonesia

Sold from carts throughout Indonesia in both sweet and savoury versions. The sweet version evolved from Indian murtabak.

Indonesian stuffed pancake — a thick, puffy sweet pancake filled with chocolate, cheese and condensed milk, or a savoury version with egg and minced meat. Indonesia's most beloved street food.
