Bircher Muesli

Switzerland

Dr Maximilian Bircher-Brenner invented this in 1900 at his Zurich clinic, believing raw food had healing properties.

The original soaked overnight muesli — oats, apple, lemon and condensed milk — created by Dr Bircher-Brenner in 1900 as a health food.
