Poutine

Canada

Born in rural Quebec in the 1950s. Now the dish that defines Canada internationally.

Quebec's glorious fast food — crispy fries topped with cheese curds and drenched in hot gravy until the curds begin to melt. Canada's greatest contribution to world food.
