Chipa

Paraguay

Sold from baskets by women on buses and at bus stations throughout Paraguay. The smell of freshly baked chipa is the smell of travel in Paraguay.

Paraguayan cheese bread rings — baked rings of cassava flour and cheese with a chewy, almost sticky texture. The most ubiquitous food in Paraguay.
